On Good Friday, Pastor Jeff Lloyd brought a moving and raw message titled 'The Agony of Love'. In it, we followed Jesus from the garden to the cross, tracing the echoes of sorrow, rejection, and injustice, and discovering the fierce, sacrificial love that held Him there.

Rooted in Isaiah 53 and the Gospel of Mark, Pastor Jeff unpacked the depths of what Jesus endured: the kiss of betrayal, the silence in sham trials, the mockery of soldiers, and the heartbreak of being denied by His closest friends. Yet through it all, He remained. Not out of weakness, but out of relentless, redeeming love.

This was no ordinary pain. It was a divine exchange: Jesus took our brokenness, our grief, our sin and in return, offers us His wholeness. Healing for the body, the soul, the mind. Forgiveness that runs deeper than our failures. Peace that passes understanding.

The darkest of days revealed the brightest of hopes: that love would go to the grave for us.

If you’ve ever felt mocked, betrayed, or crushed under the weight of life, this message is for you. Jesus has been there. And through His suffering, He offers restoration.
